Terms of Use

1. Agreement

  • By creating an account or using LOOP's creation features, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy (https://loop.botsbloc.com/legal/privacy). Browsing the trend catalog without an account is also subject to these Terms.
  • If you got LOOP from Apple's App Store, the "Apple" section (§15) also applies.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live if that is higher, to create an account or make anything with LOOP.
  • You confirm this in the app before your first creation. We may suspend accounts that we reasonably believe belong to someone under that age.

3. What LOOP does

  • LOOP lets you pick a short source video and a character (yourself, from your own photos, or a fictional AI character you design), and makes an AI-generated video.
  • Generation is performed by our third-party AI provider, Higgsfield, through our servers.
  • Results vary. They are not a faithful copy of any person, motion or sound. They may not be unique across users (Higgsfield Terms of Use §4.4).
  • We may change, add or remove features, templates or providers.

4. Your account

  • Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account). See the Privacy Policy for what is deleted and what is retained.

5. Your content and permissions

  1. What you provide: photos, videos, descriptions and other inputs ("Inputs"). What you receive: generated videos and images ("Outputs").
  2. You keep your rights in your Inputs. As between you and us, you may use your Outputs for any lawful purpose, subject to these Terms and the rights of others.
    • Higgsfield does not claim ownership of Inputs or Outputs and does not restrict their commercial use (Higgsfield Terms of Use §4.4).
  3. License to us: you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, transmit and display your Inputs and Outputs, and to send them to our AI provider. The license exists only to operate LOOP for you, keep it safe, and comply with law. It ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the retention described in the Privacy Policy.
  4. Our AI provider's use. You understand and agree that, under Higgsfield's terms:
    • Inputs and Outputs sent to Higgsfield may be used by Higgsfield to train and improve its AI models, unless our agreement with Higgsfield says otherwise.
    • Higgsfield keeps generated files for at least 7 days and keeps content for 30 days after deletion of the provider account. We cannot delete Higgsfield's copies on request.
    • The app shows these facts and asks for your consent before anything is sent.
  5. Your promises. For every Input, you promise that:
    • you own it or have all the rights and permissions needed to use it with LOOP, including music and other material in a video
    • every identifiable person in it is you, or has given you their express permission, including any releases and disclosures the law requires
    • no one in it is under 18
    • it does not include sensitive personal information about others, such as names, contact details, ID numbers, health data, location or credentials (Higgsfield Terms of Use §5.4)
  6. No face recognition. LOOP does not identify, verify or authenticate people, and you may not use it to do so (Higgsfield Terms of Use §5.3).

6. Content rules

You may not use LOOP to create, upload or share content that:

  • is sexual or nude, or depicts anyone under 18 in any sexualised or harmful way (real or synthetic)
  • depicts a real person without their permission, or impersonates someone in a way that could deceive or harm
  • is non-consensual intimate imagery
  • is fraudulent, deceptive (including passing off AI output as real or human-made), defamatory, harassing, hateful, threatening or violent
  • infringes copyright, trademark, publicity or privacy rights
  • violates law, Higgsfield's usage rules, or Apple's rules
  • tries to bypass our or our provider's safety filters ("jailbreaking")

Also:

  • AI disclosure: do not remove the "AI-generated" nature of Outputs, or watermarks or provenance signals, and do not claim Outputs are human-made or real footage. Where the law requires it, disclose that the content is AI-generated when you share it (Higgsfield Terms of Use §5.5, §6.4, §11.7).
  • We have no obligation to monitor content. We may, and our provider may, review, block or remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

7. Reporting and takedown

  • Report content in the app (Report) or at support@botsbloc.com.
  • We review reports and remove content that breaks these Terms. For non-consensual intimate imagery, we act within 48 hours of a valid request (Higgsfield Terms of Use §6.5 sets the same standard).
  • Copyright notices: send them to support@botsbloc.com.

8. Credits and purchases

  • Creating videos and AI characters costs credits. The app shows the price in credits before you confirm. If a price cannot be confirmed, the app will not let you pay for a generation.
  • In the iOS app, credits are bought as one-time in-app purchases through Apple, and Apple's terms govern payment.
  • On the website, payment is handled by Stripe. You can buy one-time credit packs or a subscription plan. The pricing page shows each plan's price, billing period and credits, and how renewal and cancellation work.
  • Purchased credit packs do not expire. Credits included in a subscription plan expire at the end of each billing period, as shown on the pricing page.
  • Credits have no cash value. They cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for money, except where the law requires.
  • If a generation fails or is blocked, the credits for it are returned. Retrying a delivery problem does not charge again.
  • Refunds of App Store purchases are handled by Apple. If a purchase is refunded after you have used the credits, your balance may become negative, and you will not be able to spend until it is positive again.
  • Deleting your account deletes any remaining credits, which cannot be restored or refunded by us.
  • A free first AI character may be offered. It is limited to one per person, and we may withdraw it.
  • We may change credit prices for future purchases.

9. Third-party services

  • LOOP relies on Higgsfield (AI generation), Clerk (sign-in), Apple (sign-in, App Store purchases, notifications), Stripe (website payments) and Amazon Web Services (hosting).
  • Their availability is outside our control. If our provider suspends or changes its service, some features may stop working.
  • Higgsfield's terms: https://higgsfield.ai/terms-of-use-agreement. We do not use Higgsfield's name to suggest that it endorses LOOP.

10. Trend templates

  • Trend clips are provided for use inside LOOP only. They are our own content or licensed, and some require attribution, which the app shows. Do not extract or redistribute them except as part of your Output where permitted.
  • Development sample clips are labelled.

11. Suspension and termination

  • We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, put others at risk, or abuse credits or refunds. Where reasonable, we will tell you why.
  • You may stop using LOOP and delete your account at any time.
  • §§5.3 (to the extent needed for retention), 5.5, 6, 8 (balance effects), 12 and 14 survive.

12. Disclaimers

  • LOOP and its Outputs are provided "as is" and "as available".
  • AI results can be inaccurate, unexpected or unsuitable. Review Outputs before you share them.

13. Limitation of liability

14. Indemnity, law and disputes

  • Indemnity terms are under legal review.
  • These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator. Consumer rights you have under the law of the EU or UK are preserved.

15. Apple-specific terms (App Store)

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple.

  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.
  • If the app fails to conform to any warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of its purchase price, if any. Apple has no other warranty obligation.
  • Apple is not responsible for claims relating to the app (product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, intellectual property).
  • You confirm you are not in a sanctioned country or on a restricted-party list.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.

16. Changes and contact

  • We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app before they apply. Changes to how your content is sent to or used by our AI provider will also ask for your consent again.
